Golden Rescue South Florida is dedicated to providing adoptive homes to Golden Retrievers who are abandoned, mistreated, neglected or left in pounds throughout Southern Florida. If you need to find your golden a new home -we are happy to hear from you before you bring your dog to an animal control. We also provide education for the community regarding the care of the purebred golden retriever.
We provide temporary shelter, needed health care and permanent homes for unwanted, abused or abandoned purebred golden retrievers.
We are happy to help re-home your dog by getting you in contact with folks in your area that are looking for a golden.
1.Your dog must be spay/neutered
2. heartworm negative
3. up to date on all shots
4. A health certificate from your Veterinarian.
5. Complete disclosure of any acute or chronic illnesses.
We will not disqualify your golden from this program -we just feel that honestly is the best policy. Once we place your golden we like it to stick.
Please remember that poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on ours. We are all volunteers who work and have other responsibilities.
